Why Shopify Customer Contacts?

Introduction

Shopify Customer Contacts (SCC) allows greater control and automation of customer sales with Shopify. The Shopify account email can be cross referenced with email addresses in your contacts table. If found, the customer will be updated to the one that the contact is linked to. If not found, then it will continue to utilize a default or whichever base settings you use.

Tracking Sales by Customer

You want to track Shopify sales and activity to the customer, but managing customers and relationships in Shopify and Business Central can be cumbersome. With SCC, as long as you setup a contact for the customer with the user's email, which you likely should already be doing. This extension can lookup that contact and update the customer ID before the sales document is created.

Sales History by Customer

SCC enables sales documents to reflect the customer account for each sale. Base and custom sales reports will now be accurate by customer, even when they are ordering via your Shopify store.
